People already give enough taxes to real governments in real life. I doubt they'd want to give fake earnings to fake corporations on a video game. If someone said I had to do that to join a corp on Dust, I'd move on.
A corporation that does not take taxes cannot sustain PC that easily. Also those taxes will be used to supply vehicles and other gear down the road. I'd happily give 50% of my earnings if that meant that i can just use whatever i need to bring my corp victory. |

If someone said I had to do that to join a corp on Dust, I'd move on. which is probably why u are in an NPC corp. the world of PC is expensive, and if you are in a crew that is participating, everyone needs to understand the cost and the necessity of helping out The benefit of corp taxes becomes much more apparent once the market becomes playerdriven. The money can be used for lucrative market PVP and buying gear in bulk whenever a good deal shows up can significantly reduce the cost of that gear. All of wich is much less viable when you have only your 200m something to your disposal that has to pay for ongoing costs aswell.
A corp with a good trader can make much more out of that ISK than just letting it rot in some mercs wallet.

don't care what EVE does because that game is Not listed or marketed as Free 2 Play. It's nice how you adressed all the points raised by others an me, deconstructed in a sound and logical manner and then came to a understanable conlusion as to why corp taxes shouln't be allow- oh wait you didn't adress a single one.
